The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Agile Product Owner to join our Credit Card team. As a key member of our agile team, you will work closely with stakeholders to prioritize work, drive business outcomes, and ensure the voice of the customer is represented. You will be responsible for making decisions, prioritizing the backlog, and driving business outcomes in service to our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate and drive the vision and strategy effectively to key stakeholders and team members.
  • Work closely with the Team-of-Teams Lead to clarify and drive alignment on business strategy, goals, and objectives.
  • Define and communicate acceptance criteria for output based on business requirements and customer needs.
  • Anticipate and solve complex issues using a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Act as the voice of the end-user and proactively seek customer feedback to learn and better understand their needs and requirements.
  • Own the agile team backlog, including grooming, prioritization, and refinement.
  • Optimize the flow of value through the agile environment and progress towards objectives, goals, and commitments.
  • Take a strategic view and think proactively about the right way to meet objectives.
  • Act in service of the team's needs and goals, offering feedback on work-in-progress and clarifying requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in process improvement, project delivery, business/requirements analysis, or directly related to supported business operations/product line.
  • Knowledge of multiple technical software delivery methodologies (i.e., Agile, Waterfall, SAFe).
  • Advanced experience analyzing business requirements, process flows, and use cases to find opportunities to streamline business processes.
  • Working knowledge of applicable banking, regulatory, compliance policies, including applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

USAA offers a competitive salary range of $99,160 - $189,530, based on experience and market data.
