The OpportunityWe're seeking a talented Senior Agile Product Owner to join our Funds Availability Team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in building the infrastructure and application to support funds availability and account restriction maintenance. You'll work closely with our technology, design, and data analytics teams to build and enhance funds availability applications.
As a Senior Agile Product Owner, you'll be responsible for driving business outcomes while delivering on team commitments and ensuring the voice of the customer is strongly represented. You'll act as the 'voice of the end-user,' bringing a data-driven approach to decisions and impediment removal, including strategic priorities and funding allocation.
You'll establish a Bank agile team culture routed in transparency and learning, seeking opportunities for testing & learning, continuous experience & process improvement, and quality. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with the ability to challenge the status quo with new and innovative ideas.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate and drive the vision and strategy to key stakeholders and team members, ensuring delivery of quality products and member experience solutions.
- Work closely with the Team-of-Teams Lead to clarify and drive alignment on business strategy, goals, and objectives, translating this understanding into a clear vision for the team.
- Partner with the Team-of-Teams Lead to define and communicate acceptance criteria for output based on business requirements and customer needs.
- Anticipate and solve complex issues using a data-driven approach to decision making, including allocating funds and developing and tracking Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) that drive business success.
- Act as the 'voice of the end-user,' proactively seeking customer feedback to learn and better understand their needs and requirements.
- Maintain a groomed backlog of user stories, working with the Agile team to estimate story size and complexity.
- Optimize the flow of value through the multi-team Agile environment, progressing towards objectives, goals, and commitments while removing impediments, resolving conflicts, and managing risks and issues.
- Take a strategic view, thinking proactively about the right way to meet objectives and offering feedback on work-in-progress.
- Look for opportunities for continuous team and process improvement, making recommendations to leadership.
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 6 years of experience in process improvement, project delivery, business/requirements analysis, or directly related to supported business operations/product line.
- Knowledge of multiple technical software delivery methodologies (i.e., Agile, Waterfall, SAFe).
- Advanced experience analyzing business requirements, process flows, and use cases to identify opportunities to streamline business processes in accordance with risk management framework and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced knowledge and demonstrated use of Process Engineering methodologies.
- Solid understanding of applicable banking, regulatory, compliance policies, including applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
USAA offers a competitive salary range of $99,160 - $178,480, with opportunities for pay incentives based on corporate and individual performance.
