Position Overview
St. Jude is seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to fulfill the role of Senior Operational Strategy Consultant within our Strategic Technology and Transformation Office.

In this pivotal position, you will utilize your analytical skills and business insight to guide strategic decision-making, enhance processes, and elevate overall performance within the Information Services department.

Your responsibilities will include analyzing intricate data sets to provide strategic insights and recommendations that support decision-making across various teams within the Information Services department.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to identify opportunities, evaluate risks, and develop data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiencies, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and conduct comprehensive studies employing advanced empirical methods or a blend of quantitative and qualitative evaluation techniques.
2. Apply sophisticated analytics to dissect complex datasets, uncover trends, and derive insights pertinent to IT strategy, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
3. Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic planning, resource allocation, and risk management.

4. Develop and implement predictive models to anticipate future trends, address challenges, and pinpoint opportunities for innovation and enhancement within Information Services.

5. Establish performance measurement frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives, projects, and processes within Information Services, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable recommendations.

6. Create visually engaging dashboards and reports to communicate complex data insights effectively to stakeholders, including senior management and executive leadership.

7. Collaborate with IT leaders, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver data-driven solutions, clearly articulating findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
8. Develop a framework for assessing and monitoring the cost of services provided by the Information Services department, enhancing the monthly business review process.

9. Leverage strong business acumen and knowledge of IT operating models to recommend resource allocation strategies aimed at maximizing operational efficiency and improving service delivery.

10. Analyze economic data, including financial statements and market trends, to identify patterns and opportunities for enhancement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, business (economics or finance preferred), or a related field.
- A master's degree (such as an MBA) is preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in a client-facing role, interacting with senior and executive leadership.
- Strong preference for 8+ years of experience in Information Technology Operating Models or Healthcare Operations.
- Proven ability to apply quantitative reasoning to systematically approach complex problems, breaking them down into manageable components.
- Excellent analytical skills with the capacity to interpret complex data and derive meaningful conclusions.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and financial modeling software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
