About the Role

As a Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer at CESO, you will have the opportunity to develop your career in a diverse portfolio of residential, energy, commercial, light industrial, and public programs. The position requires performing oversight of design and preparation of engineering construction documentation, specifications, and details for multiple projects simultaneously. You will actively participate in internal and external meetings, making recommendations based on research, observations, and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of a project manager, support civil engineers in daily planning, coordination, and completion of projects.
  • Research design criteria based on project scope and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Perform site design construction documents, including site layouts, grading, storm water, roadway, and utility layouts using Civil 3D.
  • Conduct field site visits to obtain necessary data.
  • Provide thorough and accurate documentation of calculations.
  • Complete site investigation and due diligence reports.
  • Compare design options and document findings to produce detailed civil engineering studies and reports.
  • Review technical and civil engineering drawings and make revisions accordingly.
  • Recommend continuous improvement solutions for site designs.
  • Attend client meetings.
  • Be a resource for internal department managers to facilitate cost estimates and design concepts.
  • Manage junior team members by providing project direction.
  • Motivate team members through the creation of a positive work environment, providing mentoring, coaching, and training to assist in professional development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer Licensure (PE) is preferred.
  • 4+ years of professional experience.
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTurn, HydroCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to motivate and mentor a team.

Estimated Salary Range:$80,000 - $110,000 per annum.
