As a Millwright, you will utilize your expertise in mechanical principles and hands-on skills to ensure the smooth operation of critical industrial systems. Your responsibilities will encompass tasks such as:

  • Installation & Maintenance: Installing and maintaining machinery and equipment using a variety of tools and techniques, including hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Precision Alignment: Aligning machines and equipment with precision using specialized tools such as levels, lasers, squares, and plumb bobs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing mechanical issues, replacing defective parts, adjusting clearances, and performing repairs to maintain equipment functionality.
  • Foundation Construction: Constructing foundations for machinery using various materials such as wood, cement, grout, and steel.
  • Rigging Expertise: Utilizing rigging equipment and techniques to safely move and position heavy loads, including the selection of appropriate gear and control of movement in confined spaces.

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of three years of proven experience as a Millwright or in a related field within the construction service industry.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Exceptional mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
