Hudson Regional Hospital, a leading healthcare institution in New Jersey, seeks a dedicated professional to join its team as a Basic Life Support (BLS) Class Instructor.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering educational programs to promote high-quality patient care and outcomes consistent with the hospital's goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement educational plans and programs to meet the learning needs of staff and new hires.
  • Collaborate with managers and staff to assess learning needs and provide support.
  • Maintain certification as a BLS Instructor and adhere to the hospital's Organizational Competencies.
  • Teach classes regularly, preparing materials and equipment as needed.
  • Administer exams, maintain records, and deliver certifications to participants.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and AHA Atlas site access.
  • Credentialed by the American Heart Association as a BLS Instructor.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a BLS Instructor preferred.
