Job Overview

The Assistant Store Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in managing store operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and execute strategies to drive sales, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a safe and efficient store environment.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team to achieve sales and service goals.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, Store Manager, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless store operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of retail sales experience and a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to foster a positive and inclusive team culture, with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Knowledge of retail math, technology, and operations, including POS, PC, email, and iPad functions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
