Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at Clatsop Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance activities, troubleshooting and repairing building systems, and ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our campus facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Conduct daily inspections of campus facilities to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Assist in special projects and events, including setup, teardown, and coordination of support services.
  • Enforce college parking policies and assist with parking area inspections.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Physical Plant Director.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of previous building maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A valid driver's license.
