Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Anatomic Laboratory Technician to join our team at Bryan Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing specimens for analysis and performing laboratory procedures under the supervision of the Anatomic Lab Manager and Assistant Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commit to the mission, vision, and values of Bryan Health and consistently demonstrate our core values.
- Perform Frozen Sections and collect Fine Needle Aspirations.
- Enter patient and specimen information data accurately into the computer system.
- Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures on specimens as directed by supervisor.
- Provide assistance to various departments and clients by retrieving specimens, reports, and other materials as requested.
- Prepare specimens for testing.
Requirements:
Education and training equivalent to 60 semester hours from an accredited institution that include:
- Six semester hours of chemistry.
- Six semester hours of biology.
- Twelve additional semester hours of chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology courses in any combination.
Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous work experience in a medical laboratory is preferred.
