Fitness Center Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Member Services Representative. This role is responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience at our fitness center.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to members, prospective members, and guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage front desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, and processing new member sign-ups.
- Facilitate updates to member accounts, respond to member questions and concerns, and elevate issues to management as needed.
- Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club, completing daily tasks and assisting with special cleaning projects as required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
- Customer service background preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Punctuality and reliability are a must.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive, upbeat attitude and passion for fitness and health.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers.
- Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.
- Continual standing and walking during shift.
- Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
