Your Role

As a Public Sector Sales Partnership Manager, your primary responsibility will be to enhance the productivity and expansion of the Public Sector Channel business through strategic collaborations with system integrators. Collaborating with a team member, you will oversee the Public Sector strategy, business development, partner enablement, and achieve pipeline and bookings objectives.

Your Contributions
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to devise account and territory growth strategies.
  • Define the go-to-market (GTM) plan and key performance indicators (KPIs) with partners.
  • Maximize the impact of key partners, positioning Palo Alto Networks as the partner of choice.
  • Drive Public Sector priorities into partner engagements at the executive level to enhance productivity.
  • Develop compliant partner initiatives and incentives to accelerate the adoption of growth services.
  • Organize Public Sector roadshows and Demand Days in local areas.
  • Success metrics for this role include creating a comprehensive GTM partner plan, executing field demand generation activities, and achieving partner-led pipeline creation and bookings goals.
Qualifications

Your Background

  • Experience in technology sales, particularly within Public Sector Channel Sales.
  • Proficient in developing partner and territory business plans, with a strong ability to measure success against KPIs and ROI.
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing senior-level partner executives.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including public presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively to drive outcomes.
  • Experience in a cross-functional environment, leading joint strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and influence a diverse range of internal and external resources.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Dashboards and Reports is advantageous.

The channel organization at Palo Alto Networks is crucial for our growth in cybersecurity and is integral to achieving our mission. Channel development serves as an extension of the core territory sales team, aiming to empower our channel partners in utilizing and selling our products.
