Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide hands-on system technical support to our Administrative Systems, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial applications.
  • Team Management: Assume responsibility for the management of assigned personnel in the system application group, including salary administration, performance issues, training, hiring, termination, coaching, and counseling.
  • Project Management: Assume the role of project manager in the implementation of enhancements to the Administrative Systems environment, ensuring timely and effective delivery of projects.
  • Quality Computing Solutions: Provide quality, effective, and consistent computing solutions to our corporate financial administration group, including training issues, phone requests, and problem resolution.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in systems support functions in an administrative systems environment, with a focus on systems support and a keen understanding of financial applications.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge and experience with IBMi (formerly known as AS400), RPG400, and ILE, as well as software tools required for change control and impact analysis, such as SoftLanding's Turnover and Pathfinders Hawkeye.
  • Project Management: Project management experience is required, with the ability to successfully manage projects from initiation to delivery.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of management.
Education

A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is desired but not required.
