Responsibilities:

  • Perform general diagnostic x-ray duties in an acute care setting, including OP, ED, IP, OR, and trauma using portable and fixed equipment.
  • Operate fluoroscopic procedures and other imaging modalities as needed.
  • Develop and process radiographs, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  • NYSDOH License to practice Radiologic Technology.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Diagnostic X-ray.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and be available as assigned.
  • Flexibility to adapt to patient demand and changing departmental needs.
