Job Description

The Program Manager, Turbine Maintenance, will be responsible for leading and coordinating all activities from planning and design through implementation to program closeout and review, ensuring a safe, reliable, and cost-effective outcome.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan the program, defining the scope in collaboration with senior management and creating a detailed work plan that identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully continue the program.
  • Determine the resources required to complete the program, reviewing and evaluating ongoing resource allocation to promote efficiency and continued results in line with objectives.
  • Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization, reviewing the program schedule with senior management and all other staff affected by the program activities.
  • Organize and implement the program, executing it according to the program objectives and ensuring that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization.
  • Staff the program, recruiting, interviewing, and selecting staff with appropriate skills for the program activities, managing program staff in accordance with established policies and practices.
  • Control the program, communicating program activities and operations to management and interested parties, developing reports on the program for management, and monitoring and approving all budgeted program expenditures.
  • Evaluate the program results, ensuring that the program deliverables are on time, within budget, and at the required level of quality necessary to meet regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years related experience in power plant design, operation, and/or maintenance, including a minimum of 2 years' direct supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated program management experience, working knowledge of regulatory requirements and nuclear industry standards related to the area of responsibility.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with procurement and commercial-related activities, strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and effective data analysis, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving skills.
