Job Summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic Urology Clinic team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, goal-directed, and family-centered patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Deliver safe and effective care, interacting with other members of the healthcare team to achieve desired results and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent guest relations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Completion of a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program.
  • Minimum of six months experience as an LPN required.
  • Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state.
  • A current CPR card is required; either an American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers card or an American Red Cross Professional Rescuer card.
Working Conditions

The LPN will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members. The ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends, is required. The LPN must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. unassisted and maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes.
