- Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with special medical needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive care.
- Document student health information and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in school health services staff annual orientation and other specified in-service meetings throughout the school year.
- Must hold a valid license from the West Virginia Board of Examiners for Licensed Practical Nurses.
- Must have the ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities of the position as contained in the Job Description.
- Must have the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The work environment is moderate to loud, with frequent interactions with students, teachers, and other healthcare professionals. The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff members.
