Jackson + Coker is a leading healthcare staffing firm with a strong national presence, specializing in locum tenens, locums-to-permanent, and telehealth staffing. We partner with healthcare organizations to find top physicians and advanced practitioners to deliver exceptional patient care.

Job Summary:

The Sales Consultant is a key role responsible for generating qualified leads through strategic outreach, building strong relationships with decision-makers, and presenting Jackson + Coker's services to clients. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and identify potential clients and build strong relationships with their decision-makers.
  • Present Jackson + Coker's services to clients through consultative selling.
  • Maintain account histories and job postings in the database.
  • Assist area associates and keep management informed of activities, significant problems, and sales volume.
  • Collaborate with internal recruiters to find providers opportunities to work with Jackson + Coker.
  • Extract client details and communicate them to area associates.
  • Complete consulting functions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Manage daily schedule of calls, follow-ups, and required training.
  • Meet or exceed goals established by the company by utilizing resources and adopting best practices.
  • Resolve client requests, complaints, and problems.
  • Demonstrate quality customer service for both internal and external customers.
Requirements:
  • Good interpersonal and public relations skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to work well independently (self-motivated) and in a team environment.
  • Basic sales skills.
  • Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong relationship building and presentation skills.
  • Well-developed negotiating and closing skills preferred.
  • Professional presence.
  • Knowledge of types of customers and their needs.
  • High school graduate or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of sales experience in a goal-driven environment preferred but not required.
  • Experience in phone sales preferred but not required.
