About the Role

The Associate Solutions Consultant is a key member of our team, responsible for developing an in-depth understanding of our solutions and identifying the unique value proposition for prospects, customers, and partners.

This role requires a consultative approach to build relationships with customers, understand their business needs, and map their requirements to our solutions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convince customers of the business benefits of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform discovery to understand customer operations, determine key requirements, and planned goals/vision of the company.
  2. Evaluate business requirements and align the appropriate Aptean solution as part of a consultative selling campaign.
  3. Provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process.
  4. Design, develop, and conduct demonstrations and presentations highlighting the latest versions of our solutions, product features, and business usage to prospects.
  5. Customize demonstrations to the needs of specific prospects (executives, functional managers, evaluation team members, users, and IT).
  6. Help identify, develop, and prove the business case for Aptean maintenance by developing solution demonstrations to meet the requirements of the prospect, emphasizing the benefits of Aptean's maintenance, and developing alternative solutions to mitigate weaknesses.
  7. Assist account managers in all stages of the sales process, including RFPs, architecture design, and implementation discussions.
  8. Support and help identify both Cross Sell and Up Sell opportunities.
  9. Support various company activities such as seminars, trade shows, and user groups with product expertise, industry expertise, and demonstrations.
About You

This role typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.

To be successful, you may have:

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of the customer sales cycle.
  • Knowledge of ERP or CRM solutions.
  • Analytical/problem-solving skills with a clear ability to break down complex technical concepts.
  • Technology and solution support and implementation experience valuable.
  • Ability to multi-task; strong sense of ownership and urgency; ability to improvise.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects using strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Professional image and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
