Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Industrial Sales Representative to join our team at Applied Industrial Technologies. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their requirements
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales strategies

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of industrial sales experience
  • 3+ years of fluid power/hydraulic application knowledge
  • Ability to develop new business and build repeat customer relationships
  • Mechanical aptitude, self-starter with a strong desire to succeed, and sense of humor
  • Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar
  • Computer skills and knowledge, including Excel
