Sales Representative Job Summary

The Sales Representative is responsible for acquiring new and returning customers for vegetation management services. This role involves performing sales tasks in an office and outdoors at customer sites, including industrial plant sites, municipal sites, airports, railroads, distribution centers, and other commercial areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sales tasks to acquire new and returning customers
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain our service or product value
  • Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client needs fulfillment
  • Keep accurate records, prepare proposals, and other administrative tasks using company-designated software and methods
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Adhere to safety procedures, including conforming to all OSHA standards and properly using personal protective equipment (PPE)
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience of previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred
Working Conditions

The Sales Representative will spend 5-10 hours a day sitting, kneeling, bending, standing, or walking. They will also infrequently lift, push, pull, or move 25 pounds or more. Travel will be required 50-75% of the time, with overnight travel throughout the territory.
