Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to oversee our clients OB and NICU departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and neonatal care as well as proven leadership abilities. The Clinical Director will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the OB and NICU departments, ensuring quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment for staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and direction to the OB and NICU departments, including setting goals, developing policies and procedures, and monitoring performance.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to obstetrics and neonatal care.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and make necessary changes to improve quality of care.

Oversee staffing and scheduling for the OB and NICU departments, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff, as well as identify and address any performance issues.

Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and other healthcare providers to facilitate coordinated care for patients.

Participate in budget planning and management for the OB and NICU departments.

Stay current with industry developments and best practices in obstetrics and neonatal care and implement changes as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Current and valid RN license.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in obstetrics and neonatal care.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role.

Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards for obstetrics and neonatal care.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and develop staff.

Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Experience with budget planning and management.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
