Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability and Validation Engineer to join our team in a hybrid working model. As a reliability engineer, you will work closely with a team of experts to develop effective reliability and validation strategies for our high-speed data communication products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish clear reliability requirements during the product design phase.
  • Interface with internal teams and customers to align on reliability expectations and ensure targets are met.
  • Host regular cross-functional team meetings to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve reliability issues throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Develop and communicate precise execution strategies and test instructions to global test labs for flawless validation.
  • Create reliability test plans for high-speed connectors based on product design validation requirements.
  • Perform reliability analysis and risk assessments to identify potential failure modes and recommend remedial strategies.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reliability models for overall sensor systems to predict product reliability and estimate lifetime across different platforms or technologies.
  • Analyze test results, identify trends, and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Min. bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, physics, materials science or comparable.
  • Min. 3 years relevant experience in reliability analysis, reliability prediction methods and accelerated life testing.
  • Knowledge in high-speed data communication.
  • Knowledge in printed circuit reliability and testing.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of test and reliability Specifications & Standards like Telcordia, IEC, JIS, EIA.
  • Extensive knowledge of reliability engineering principles, tools and techniques, including FMEA, FTA, HALT and reliability modelling.
  • Expert knowledge of reliability and data analysis tools such as Weibull++, Reliasoft & nCode, JMP, MiniTab or equivalent.
