The ideal candidate will introduce fresh concepts that captivate both potential and current subscribers while effectively overseeing video production from initial concept through to final edits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee video projects from inception to final delivery.
  • Edit a diverse array of content styles, ranging from brief social media clips to extensive branded narratives and educational webinars.
  • Utilize Adobe applications (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder) to edit video content, webinars, and promotional materials at an expert level.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external marketing teams to grasp project requirements, resolve challenges, and ensure seamless production within set timelines.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to projects, including the organization of file data, video assets, and audio/video archives.
  • Work alongside Video Team members and internal staff to identify video solutions that align with business goals.
  • Source stock footage and develop Microsoft PowerPoint slides to enhance webinars, promotional videos, and video sales letters.
  • Create text animations for lower thirds and other video embellishments.
  • Skillfully combine visuals, audio, and graphics to produce engaging video narratives, including motion graphics as necessary.
  • Perform color correction on footage as required.
  • Provide on-set assistance, including setup, teleprompter operation, and filming as needed.
  • Conceptualize, direct, and shoot using in-house equipment; assist with script creation; capture new footage and apply effects; compile and edit materials including graphics, photography, dialogue, existing footage, and sound effects as needed.
  • Assist with lighting and camera operations for filming in various settings.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Senior VP of Digital Media.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Video Production, Film, Television, Electronic Media, or equivalent experience.
  • 4-8 years of professional experience in video editing; videography experience is a plus.
  • Expertise in Adobe Premiere, with proficiency in the entire Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects and Photoshop being highly advantageous.
  • Significant experience in video editing, particularly in long-form, short-form, broadcast, and native social media content.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of audio mixing, including music, narration, and natural sound.
  • In-depth understanding of video production equipment (cameras, lighting, audio gear, drones).
  • Ability to create compelling videos that resonate with subscribers.
  • Strong skills in color correction.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and identifying resources effectively. Must be detail-oriented, technical, organized, and creative, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Capacity to work independently and take initiative.
  • Flexibility in working hours.
  • Familiarity with the Mac operating system.
  • Experience with camera and lighting is a plus.
  • Financial knowledge is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
  • Awareness of current editing trends (both creative and technical) to maintain competitiveness in the industry.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • A dynamic and creative team player with a passion for the video production field.
  • A comprehensive understanding of video development and production, with a focus on streamlining processes for maximum efficiency.
