About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced independent contractor with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in high-tech product marketing. The ideal candidate will have extensive subject matter expertise in one or more IT industry segments and a strong understanding of cybersecurity products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive product message maps to effectively communicate the value of our clients' products.
  • Create engaging content for technical- and business-focused white papers, product collateral, and sales-enablement tools.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Assist with licensing and pricing analyses to ensure our clients' products are competitive in the market.
  • Develop and execute product launch plans to drive sales and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of high-tech product marketing experience.
  • Extensive subject matter expertise in one or more IT industry segments.
  • B.S. or B.A. undergraduate degree.
  • Impeccable writing skills and the ability to grasp new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent communication and client-management skills.
  • Strong project management skills, completing projects on time and on budget.
