About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Trotter Workforce.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of heavy equipment and troubleshoot problems to ensure efficient operation.

Job Summary

The Heavy Equipment Technician will be responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues on heavy equipment using knowledge of hydraulics and electronics repair.
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Operating hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong mechanical aptitude and technical understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, and primary functions of heavy equipment.
  • Knowledge of basic hydraulics and 12-volt electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow instructions.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, and loud noises. You will also be required to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
