We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Builders Supply Co., Inc.

As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on all company fleet vehicles and equipment.

This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in heavy truck repair, preferably in a commercial fleet operation. A formalized mechanical trade school education is highly desired, but not required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off, we also offer opportunities for career growth and professional development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance and adjustments on all types of company equipment, vehicles, diesel engines, forklifts, and trailing equipment
  • Repairing or rebuilding all or part of equipment systems
  • Applying knowledge and working in accordance with DOT, OSHA, and other relevant rules and regulations
  • Performing safety inspections of equipment and preparing documentation
