Equipment Maintenance Technician

Job Description:
Trotter Workforce is seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements
- Diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Communicate with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate work efforts
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, and primary functions of heavy equipment
- Knowledge of basic hydraulics and 12-volt electrical systems
- Ability to operate saws, plasma cutters, and oxygen/acetylene torches
- Basic math skills and ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals
Working Conditions:
This position requires working in an environment with exposure to extreme temperatures, various weather conditions, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and loud noises.
Compensation:
- Estimated salary: $35,000 - $65,000 per year (based on experience)
