Job Summary

Avontix is seeking a highly skilled Medical Coder to QA to join our team. As a key member of our coding team, you will be responsible for accurately coding medical records using ICD-10 and CPT-4 systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coding medical records with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Meeting productivity standards for inpatient and outpatient coding
  • Maintaining high professional and ethical standards
  • Participating in coding team meetings and educational conferences to stay up-to-date with industry developments
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in life sciences with 2-8 years of experience in medical coding for surgery
  • Experience in surgery coding is required
  • Knowledge of CPT-4, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding systems
  • Good understanding of medical coding systems and regulatory requirements
