The primary role of the Warehouse Associate - Receiving is to manage stock retrieval to fulfill customer orders, process incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintain overall warehouse organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implement safety, health, and environmental programs to ensure employee well-being and compliance with regulations.
  2. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) standards.
  3. Organize daily workflows for receiving, unloading, and forklift operations.
  4. Coordinate shipments with production and purchasing departments.
  5. Train team members on safety protocols and operational procedures.
  6. Maintain accurate records of receipts and inventory paperwork.
  7. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to uphold product standards and report any discrepancies.
  8. Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including delivery services and vendors.
  9. Track and update the status of shipments.
  10. Ensure a clean and organized work area.
  11. Efficiently unload deliveries and stock items.
  12. Maintain accurate logs of daily operations and inventory counts.
  13. Engage positively with vendors and drivers.
  14. Provide support for shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
  15. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience operating various materials handling equipment, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
  • Comfortable working at heights between 18ft to 30ft.
  • Flexibility for overtime and weekend work as required.
  • Proficient in reading and writing in English.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic, whether working independently or as part of a team.
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Good physical condition.
  • Ability to stand and bend for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
