Job Summary

NSI Industries is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for retrieving stock to fill customer orders, processing and fulfilling orders, accepting incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining the general organization of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the implementation of Company safety, health, and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed, and ensure that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.
  • Commit to the Company's policies, principles, and procedures, and adhere to the Company's procedures, including Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S), Equal Employment Opportunity, and other relevant policies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with daily cycle counts of inventory.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, and receive orders and retrieve goods from the warehouse when necessary.
  • Check packing lists for accuracy and inspect orders for accuracy before shipping.
  • Pick, pack, and verify orders, and use a scanning gun to process orders.
  • Process knowledge of small parcel utilizing UPS and FedEx Ship software.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
  • Must be comfortable using equipment and elevating to heights ranging from 18ft to 30ft.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to read and write in English, and have basic math and computer skills.
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and great work ethic, whether working with others or working unsupervised.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be in good physical condition.
  • Must be able to stand and/or bend for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination.
