KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & PROJECTS
Landscape Design and Strategy:

Formulate a vision and strategy for outstanding curb appeal while establishing processes to ensure each property aligns with the Best in Class standard.

Collaborate with Regional Managers to assess budgets for outdoor enhancements.
Develop detailed landscape plans, encompassing plant selection, layout, hardscape features, and irrigation systems.
Ensure all designs adhere to local regulations and environmental guidelines.
Plant Selection and Maintenance:

Choose suitable plants, shrubs, trees, and flowers based on soil conditions, climate, and aesthetic appeal.
Supervise planting, mulching, and ongoing care to promote healthy growth and vitality of vegetation.
Monitor for pests, diseases, and other potential issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.


Hardscape Installation and Upkeep:

Oversee the installation and maintenance of hardscape elements such as pathways, patios, retaining walls, and water features.
Ensure effective drainage systems are in place to prevent erosion and water damage.


Curb Appeal Enhancement:

Evaluate existing properties for opportunities to improve curb appeal.
Propose and implement projects aimed at enhancing exterior aesthetics, including lawn care, trimming, weeding, and decorative features.


Irrigation and Water Management:

Design, install, and maintain efficient irrigation systems to ensure proper hydration of plants and lawns.
Promote water conservation practices and educate the team on sustainable methods.


Communication and Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with the site team, ensuring clear communication regarding project progress, timelines, and potential challenges.
Provide expert advice and recommendations to meet property needs and preferences.
Foster strong relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for services such as snow removal, salting, mowing, irrigation, and fertilization.


Budgeting and Resource Allocation:

Develop and oversee project budgets, including the procurement of materials and equipment.
Optimize resource allocation to enhance project efficiency and profitability.


Safety and Compliance:


Adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices to ensure a secure working environment for oneself, team members, vendors, and residents.

Comply with inspection requirements concerning extensive and dense vegetation, ensuring no encroachment on unintended surfaces such as buildings, gutters, fences, roofs, HVAC units, and pathways.
Stay informed about local regulations and codes related to landscaping and outdoor enhancements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated experience in landscape design, installation, and maintenance.
Strong understanding of horticulture, plant selection, and care techniques.
Proficiency in landscape design software and basic knowledge of CAD.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
Ability to manage projects effectively, including budgeting and resource allocation.
Dedicated to making improvements and playing a key role in finding solutions.
Knowledge of local regulations and environmental considerations related to landscaping.
A two-year technical degree in landscape or turf management is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
