Key Responsibilities- Oversee financial processing to ensure timely delivery of settlement checks to clients.
- Verify case-related amounts and negotiate fee reductions with medical providers.
- Prepare and manage settlement disbursements with precision.
- Maintain office correspondence, including responding to inquiries and participating in team meetings.
- Utilize case management software to create and review Settlement Memos for client conferences.
- Confirm accuracy of all file costs and balances on recent medical bills.
- Schedule and attend Settlement Appointments with clients, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared.
- Assist in closing files efficiently by completing required tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in administrative or customer service roles, particularly in personal injury law, insurance billing, or accounts management.
