Election Processing Specialist

We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Election Processing Specialists to join our team during critical election periods. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the electoral process.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive support to Election Specialists in processing returned mail-in ballots.
  • Assist with voter correspondence regarding ballot challenges, maintaining clear and accurate records.
  • Conduct meticulous signature verification on submitted ballots.
  • Perform audits of returned ballots to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Issue ballots over the counter to eligible voters.
  • Provide prompt and accurate information regarding election-related inquiries through various channels, including telephone, in-person, and email.
  • Contribute to the efficient opening and distribution of mail-in ballots.
  • Maintain detailed data records related to mail-in ballots with utmost precision.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  • Registered voter in the State of Nevada at the time of hire or appointment.
  • Non-felon status.
  • No familial relationship with any candidates on the ballot.
  • Successful completion of all necessary background checks prior to employment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work extended hours for several consecutive days.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed during peak periods.
  • Prolonged sitting required throughout the workday.
  • Capacity to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with office standards.
