Key Responsibilities

  • Manage stock orders and fulfill e-commerce transactions through SmartRent's online platform.
  • Prepare, repackage, and dispatch smart home devices for installation projects.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including Client Success, Accounting, Product Management, and Field Installation.
  • Assist the Procurement Manager in identifying purchasing needs and specifications.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment to receive, sort, count, pick, and deliver materials accurately.
  • Support inventory reconciliation, address discrepancies, and ensure proper packaging.
  • Maintain precise records of assigned inventory and adhere to standard inventory management protocols.
  • Conduct product searches within the system, rectify discrepancies, and propose process enhancements.
  • Oversee inventory security and collaborate with management on loss prevention initiatives.
  • Perform quality assurance tasks, including product testing, shipment inspections, and reporting issues to management.
  • Promote continuous improvement to ensure an exceptional experience consistently.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices and general warehousing terminology.
  • Proficient in database management and data analysis related to inventory.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Self-driven with a passion for problem-solving.
  • Willingness to engage in hands-on tasks.
