Schedule: 1st Shift - 6:00am - 2:30pm - Monday - Friday + OT

Wage: $19.00 + $1.50 shift differential per hour

Position Overview: The role involves operating power equipment to efficiently load and unload products. The operator is responsible for safely moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting inventory.

Position Competencies:

  1. Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift certification.
  2. Proficiency in using handheld RF scanning devices.
  3. Capability to lift 50 lbs, and to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  4. Ability to twist, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder height.
  5. Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Position Expectations:

Productivity:

  • Meet established productivity benchmarks.
  • Understand the stocking strategy for assigned operations.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer instructions.

Safety:

  • Follow Dock Safety policies.
  • Conduct lift inspections before operation.
  • Report equipment issues immediately.
  • Comply with safety and security policies.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety is preferred or willingness to be trained.

Quality:

  • Ensure shipments are free from errors and damage.
  • Verify product scanning accuracy.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately.
  • Report product damages promptly.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.

Initiative:

  • Knowledge of multiple job functions within the operation is advantageous.
