About the Role
As a key member of our Executive Compensation and Board Advisory practice at WTW, you will collaborate with top consultants to develop cutting-edge technical knowledge and skills. You will manage consulting projects, provide input to senior colleagues, and oversee the work of junior staff. You may also serve as project lead on smaller-scale projects.
Project Scope
Our projects will range from those focused on executive compensation and board effectiveness to those involving other lines of business, such as M&A due diligence and integration, total rewards strategy design, and optimization assessments. Client engagements will typically involve the relevant committee(s) of the Board, senior management, or both.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver superior project management for multiple, high-profile clients.
- Draft statements of work, project plans, and budgets involving multiple workflow streams and client teams.
- Serve as the day-to-day project lead, ensuring progress against established objectives, budget, timeline, deliverables, and quality standards.
- Leverage and manage the work of junior staff, providing coaching and ongoing feedback.
- Operate as the key contact to clients on delivery of services, managing client expectations, and raising appropriate issues to senior consultants.
- Collaborate and contribute to the development, design, and implementation of compensation programs, including total rewards strategy, competitive benchmarking, annual and long-term incentive plan design, employment contract review, change-in-control agreements, overall competitive pay analysis, and pay-for-performance alignment.
- Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches.
- Support the generation of new business as part of the broader team by assisting with new business development activities, participating in discovery discussions with prospects, developing and delivering proposals, establishing collaborative relationships with clients, and expanding WTW's relationship into new service areas.
- Contribute to the external visibility of WTW's brand through intellectual capital generation, drafting articles, and attending and speaking at relevant conferences.
