Transaction Advisory Services Manager

Weaver is seeking a highly skilled Transaction Advisory Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Transaction Advisory Services team, you will be responsible for assisting in the strategic development and execution of transaction structures, including financial due diligence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical accounting literature and experience with due diligence engagements related to acquisitions by private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers. You will be responsible for analyzing financial and operational results of targets, reviewing accounting records, and conducting interviews with management to prepare pro forma financial information.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication and leadership skills, who can manage and develop staff. A Master's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred, but not required. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for financial analysis, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the strategic development and execution of transaction structures, including financial due diligence
  • Analyze financial and operational results of targets
  • Review accounting records and conduct interviews with management
  • Prepare pro forma financial information
  • Manage and develop staff
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA required
  • 5+ years of experience in transaction advisory services/financial due diligence, or mergers and acquisitions transactions, or public accounting experience
  • Advanced understanding of technical accounting literature with GAAP
  • Experience with due diligence engagements related to acquisitions by private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff
  • Strong relationship management and practice development skills
