Job Summary:

Emissary Recruiting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Architect Lead to join our team. As a key member of our architectural team, you will be responsible for leading complex projects and multi-project accounts, while also developing and maintaining strong business relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Proactively contribute to the planning, design, and documentation of projects across multiple scales and types, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of projects and the growth of team members.
  • Business Development: Assist partners in the management of schedules, budgets, and clients, while also developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary client liaison, responsible for ensuring that projects are completed to meet client goals and expectations.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative architectural solutions and ideas for architectural amenities that enhance client experiences.
  • Project Administration: Manage work plans, schedules, programs, communication, and project team assignments, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Estimating and Proposals: Estimate fees, determine scope of work, and prepare proposals and contracts, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Staff Development: Assist staff in the development of industry knowledge and architectural skills, ensuring a high level of expertise and professionalism.
  • Contract Administration: Issue and record Change of Service Agreements in a timely manner, while also researching and adhering to city/county agency requirements.
  • Bid Documents: Direct the preparation and issuance of bid documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agency requirements.
  • Construction Administration: Oversee construction contract administration and attend construction meetings as needed, ensuring successful project completion.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Architecture degree, license preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Revit, Adobe, and Rendering.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of architectural principles and practices.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience leading complex projects and multi-project accounts.
  • Business Development Experience: Strong business development and client development acumen.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal management skills.
  • Negotiation Skills: Experience negotiating project scope and fees.
  • Local Knowledge: Knowledge of local building codes and standards.
