Job Summary: The Newtown Athletic Club is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to ensure the smooth and efficient daily technological operations of the business. This role encompasses a mix of network, hardware, software, and event/departmental support to facilitate the seamless functioning of all IT-related aspects within the club.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the daily technological operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, hardware, security cameras, and software systems.
  • Provide technical support to various departments within the club, addressing their IT-related needs and issues.
  • Implement and improve IT policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain security and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to procure and maintain IT equipment and services.
  • Develop and implement strategies for optimizing IT infrastructure and systems to meet current and future business needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience in IT operations, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of network infrastructure, hardware, and software systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with IT security protocols and compliance standards.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Work Environment: This is an on-site position based at Newtown Athletic Club that requires some nights and weekends.
