Join Our Team as a Physician Assistant

Trinity Health Of New England is actively seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to become a vital member of our Heart Failure team. This role is integral to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient evaluations in collaboration with the advanced heart failure team.
  • Engage with a multidisciplinary team, including hospitalists, social workers, nurses, and cardiologists.
  • Function as an extension of the advanced heart failure physician, managing patients with heart failure. Key skills include:
    • Diuretic management
    • Initiation of guideline-directed medical therapy
    • Management of cardiogenic shock
    • Conducting advanced heart failure consultations
    • Participating in daily interdisciplinary rounds

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Passionate about heart failure care.
  • Cardiology or heart failure experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Possesses a valid Physician Assistant license in Connecticut.
