Job Summary

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for obtaining, evaluating, coordinating, and distributing information and authorizations necessary to construct projects on time, within budget, and to the specified quality. Key responsibilities include ensuring required documentation is filed, assisting in creating and managing project budgets, developing pre-construction RFP packages, and establishing job processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with project superintendents and site operations teams to ensure project quality control and logistics
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control plans
  • Assist in conducting project meetings and ensuring effective communication among team members
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors


Qualifications

  • Four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business concentrations preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
