Job Title: Branch Manager

Vandalia Rental is seeking an accomplished Branch Manager to lead the effective operations of our Beechmont (Cincinnati) branch. As a highly driven individual with a proven record of operational excellence, you will understand the relationship between operations and sales and foster those relationships to drive success for our customers and Vandalia Rental.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, including maintenance, logistics, safety, and quality to achieve branch and organizational goals.
  • Maintain a safe environment for all team members, customers, and vendors.
  • Be an exceptional leader for your team, building and developing a high-performing team that is well-connected to other branches through training, development, coaching, accountability, and regular performance reviews.
  • Oversee timely, high-quality repair and preventative maintenance of all equipment.
  • Oversee logistics efficiency, dispatching drivers, and routing trucks.
  • Establish and communicate quality expectations; ensure quality expectations are met; and oversee quality audits.
  • Identify, facilitate, and drive process improvements.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with customers to ensure exceptional customer service; work with customers to resolve problems and issues.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Leadership experience required.
  • Equipment Rental experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Lift up to 75 lbs. with assistance required.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English proficiently required.
  • Must be authorized to work in The United States.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
  • Ability to be exposed to and work in: air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned, inside/outside environments (including changing weather conditions), occasional noise in excess of 100 decibels, dirt, grease, oil, and other non-hazardous chemical encounters, all other elements presented by the day-to-day operations consistent with a construction/industrial equipment rental company.
  • Proficiency with computers/tablet, knowledge of Microsoft Office, web-based applications, internet, and email required.
