This management role is focused on enhancing the daily operations of Rooms, including Housekeeping, Recreation, Laundry, Staff, AYS, and Concierge/Guest Services.
The responsibilities encompass aiding in guest arrival and departure processes, maintaining cleanliness standards, and prioritizing both guest and employee satisfaction while adhering to budgetary objectives.
Candidate Profile
Educational and Professional Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; with a minimum of 3 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related field.
- Associate degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related discipline; with at least 1 year of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a similar field.
Assisting in Rooms Operations Management
- Oversees Front Desk shifts, Housekeeping, and other operational duties.
- Analyzes room operations reports.
- Supervises various departmental operations and equipment.
- Ensures availability of necessary supplies and uniforms for staff.
- Manages employee scheduling and attendance records.
- Implements and supervises loss prevention strategies.
- Communicates performance expectations and addresses employee concerns.
- Maximizes room revenue and property occupancy rates.
- Ensures accurate room pricing for revenue enhancement.
- Utilizes financial reports for operational oversight.
- Controls expenses to align with budgetary goals.
- Understands the financial implications on property objectives.
- Assists with employee and guest incidents.
- Utilizes guest information systems for tailored service.
- Engages with guests to collect feedback and resolve issues promptly.
- Reviews guest satisfaction metrics.
