CRH Group Corporate Events is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Event Operations Manager to join their team in the US. This role involves project management and practical execution of events from inception to reconciliation, collaborating with Events Team colleagues, functional leadership, senior management, and third-party vendors to deliver consistently exceptional events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of event planning and delivery, including venue sourcing and management, event design, theming, and production, food and beverage management, transportation and logistics, digital operational systems, and budgeting and cost control.
  • Collaborate with Events Team colleagues, functional leadership, senior management, and third-party vendors to ensure a coordinated and efficient approach to each event program.
  • Conduct frequent site visits and extensive national and some international travel is required.
  • Establish event design, production, and IT requirements and determine the most appropriate means of delivery.
  • Manage and meet internal and external deadlines to ensure adherence to budget from initial cost estimate through to final project reconciliation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in delivering national and ideally international corporate events, particularly in logistics roles.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and related collaboration tools.
  • Formal qualification in Event Management, Project Management, or a similar field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of event production, scenic, AV, branding, etc.
  • Experienced in Cvent, Eventogy, or other similar online registration tools.
