Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Inventory Management Analyst for a temporary assignment with a dynamic and expanding organization. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a global company.

The Inventory Management Analyst will be responsible for gathering data, conducting comprehensive data analysis, and generating reports related to inventory oversight. This individual will play a crucial role in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), managing purchase orders, optimizing fill rates, addressing back order lines, and streamlining claims processes. High-level analyses will be conducted using Excel or Access, with findings summarized for management review. Additionally, the analyst will be tasked with developing and refining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for claims processing.

  • Assist the team with regular reporting and analytical tasks concerning inventory management and respond to specific requests.
  • Investigate and resolve supply department issues, propose action plans for aging claims, and maintain precise records for all claims reporting.
  • Execute queries in the database based on management's specified requirements.
  • Engage in the design, testing, and implementation of both short-term and long-term system enhancements.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide guidance to ensure objectives are met.

Educational Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

Professional Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in inventory management.
  • Experience with supplier claims is essential.
  • Proven ability to identify issues, recommend effective solutions, and follow up to ensure successful outcomes is required.

Certifications

  • APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) or other relevant supply chain certifications are advantageous.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in inventory planning is mandatory.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Access is necessary.
  • Familiarity with MS Word, PowerPoint, or other SQL tools is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities are essential.
