Role Overview:

Efficiently manages packaging operations in accordance with established protocols and client specifications, ensuring compliance with all quality standards.

Supervises the tasks of team members assigned to specific packaging areas or products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Package products into bags, boxes, or containers as per client specifications.
  • Document quality assessments and input data into the system.
  • Interpret and communicate product specifications and packaging requirements.
  • Assist in onboarding new team members and cross-training existing staff.
  • Collect product samples and verify product mix, labeling, and weight against specifications.
  • Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality protocols.
  • Capable of performing all tasks of a Packaging Operator II.
  • Maintain cleanliness around packaging machinery and within the warehouse.
  • Responsible for lockout/tagout procedures when addressing equipment jams or conducting basic maintenance.
  • Make basic adjustments to operating machinery to ensure finished products meet specifications.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred.
