We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Claiborne Healthcare Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the overall safety, appearance, and maintenance of our facility, in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Facility Maintenance: Oversee the completion of maintenance services and activities using our TELS maintenance program, ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and safe for residents and staff.
- Inspections and Compliance: Conduct regular inspections of storage rooms, workrooms, utility/janitorial closets to ensure upkeep and safety controls are in place.
- Safety Committee: Ensure that safety committee meetings are held monthly, with complete and accurate documentation.
- Strategic Planning: Stay up-to-date with economic conditions and recommend adjustments in maintenance services to ensure the continued ability to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of diverse construction or maintenance-related experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Knowledge and Skills: Must be knowledgeable about various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with HVAC certification a plus but not required.
- Facility Experience: Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a skilled nursing facility preferred but not required.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Must have knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
- Transportation: Must have a reliable source of transportation and a valid driver's license.
