As an Office Coordinator for the Phys MED Therapy Pediatric department, you will provide essential support to the Rehabilitation team. Your responsibilities will include answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing insurance authorizations, and maintaining accurate patient data. You will also be responsible for customer service, charge reconciliation, and other tasks assigned to support the Rehabilitation Services team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to the Rehabilitation department
• Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle insurance authorizations
• Maintain accurate patient data and perform charge reconciliation
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Assist therapists with whirlpool patient care
Requirements:
• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
• Experience in medical coding, billing, and insurance authorization/verification
• Knowledge of computers and general office equipment
• Good organizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
Work Environment:
