Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems
  • Coordinate system development, including design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing
  • Contribute to the completion of major engineering programs and projects
  • Develop solutions to complex engineering problems
  • Oversee complex infrastructure, including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
  • Perform continual maintenance and provide solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Experience with NFS, AD/LDAP integration, Web Servers, certificates, LVM, VMware, Linux security hardening, Red Hat Satellite Server, Cloud and/or Hybrid-Cloud deployments
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • DoD IAT II Level certification
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with BASH Scripting, kickstart deployments, Big Data solutions, Nutanix, Splunk, AWS/Azure, and/or HPE storage solutions
