Job Summary

Staffing Pros, a division of VETS Inc., is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. This role requires an Active (TS/SCI) CI Poly clearance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in a development team that uses agile methodologies and mature software practices.
  • Execute full lifecycle agile workflow, including daily SCRUMs, story grooming, and sprint execution.
  • Develop software and extend the software baseline to implement new capabilities and mature existing ones.
  • Maintain the deployed system, diagnose and resolve issues, and provide support to end-users as needed.
  • Provide technical and methodological guidance to the team and help steer it to be self-reliant and highly effective at meeting project objectives.

Qualifications
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline and 12 years of experience, or a Master's degree and 10 years of experience.
  • 10+ years of experience with Java development, including some experience in Relational Database Management.
  • 10+ years of experience with Angular 3+ front-end web application platform and PrimeNG UI components or a similar web framework.
  • Experience with middle-tier messaging systems, Kafka, ActiveMQ, or similar, and development and usage with RESTful web services.
  • Active Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance. Must have a current Poly or consent to Poly at briefing.
